Activities
- Establishing a project team;
- Developing an action plan;
- Organising Tech Camps– establishing the core of youth that will spend time together, make friends, share ideas and take the leadership in disseminating and outreaching the project activities: how to acquire information; how to use information and communicate online effectively (net-etiquette); what are online threats and how to recognise and avoid them; how to use online tools and social networks in a safe and secure way; using online communication tools and PBL concept for further self-development; considering applications of UNESCO’s publication “Ethical Implications of Emerging Technologies: A Survey”; privacy protection, safety of children, participation of persons with disabilities; importance of the role of UNESCO in the ethical dimension of the information society; Code of Ethics for the Information Society.
- Disseminating gained knowledge, skills and attitudes in their environments on building local/national capacities;
- Outreaching local communities;
- Jointly collecting and publishing acquired good practices that are safe and secure environment for young people;
- Developing a web site with the content of the Project, contributions and creations from youth, results, recommendations, content for youth on how to make Internet safe and secure place for them.
